The Camotes Islands are a group of four islands that are part of the province of Cebu. They are located east of Cebu Island, west and south of Leyte, and north of Bohol Island. Click here to view the location of Camotes Island.
I went there last May 2005 together with my officemates at Cebu-based ADTX Systems, Inc. We stayed in My Little Island hotel. We stayed there for 3 days and 2 nights; it was a very nice place to stay and the people were very accommodating. Immediately we were toured around the Camotes Islands, actually I can't remember what was the name of the specific island. We went to San Francisco beach an unspoiled, cotton-sand sea (I'm not kidding here, the sand just feels like cotton). Next was the Mangodlong Beach Resort, a resort with an islet/rock that can easily be reached by a raft. We also went to Bukilat Cave. Next stop was a quick canoe ride in Lake Danao and lastly viewing the whole island on top of its highest peak. All in all it was a very nice experience.

one of the best beaches i have been too. camotes ..
Yeah, but they should improve their transportation more so that we don't have to deal with all the dust while travelling across its islands.
Camotes is one place I hope to visit soon.
Indeed Camotes Island is one of the most beautiful island resorts in the Philippines. During my first time there, I instantly fell in love with the island. A very great place to have some R&R or just some quality time with the family will do.
so nice.
